Editor Review
The Good: Affordable international health insurance for students under age 65 traveling outside their home country for the purpose of educational opportunities. At excellent rates, this plan meets most university and study-abroad program requirements. It can be renewed every semester or annually. Includes coverage for spouses and children as well.
The Drawbacks: No flight accident coverage, emergency dental coverage, and the 24-hour AD&D limit is very low. No optional upgrades.
The Bottom Line: Offered at two plan limits, this plan is basic medical coverage for U.S. and non U.S. students, including spouse and children, who are studying abroad.
